I bought a set of these electrodes, and I understand that they should be a direct exchange for the "normal" electrodes. I put a brand new set of these electrodes and a new fine cut nozzle, and started a file. Touched off fine, then after the first cut, the torch won't fire, just a tiny spark and nothing... Am I missing something with the consumable set?

Sarge,
I guess I would try swapping out the consumables one at a time to determine where the problem is. There are thousands of people using the new electrode......si I suspect they generally last longer than 1 start!

Tried one also ! 45 amps fine cut nozzle. Had a problem with it and called Hypertherm tech line. Was told to use them for 65 amps. Powermax 65 plasma cutter.
