Pencil Adapter for a Sharpie holder STL

I found an adapter at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5422309 that allows for the use of a short 7mm pencil (like you get at the golf course or from catalogue stores to fill out forms) in place of a Sharpie pen and it works great. Also, 8mm hex and round pencil adapters.

The tolerances are very close so I had to spend a quick minute with a fine file both inside and outside of the adapter to get it to slide perfectly.

I assume that this will not be using the spring, but is a snug fit for the adapter.??

You are right it does not use the spring in the holder. Yes, it is a snug fit.

I showed it in "my" CNC Sharpie adapter as a test fit. I was providing for the other designs that use Sharpies with floating mounts.
