Help with logo

Can anyone help me with my logo still learning on my table and trying to get this figured out. Needing some help with logo to be able to cut it out on my table!

The first thing to determine when it comes to making a design to cut is what size you need/want it to be. Next would be how you intend to represent it, one layer or multiple or possibly even a combination. Also it wouldn't hurt to let us know what program you're using to draw with so an explanation of these processes may be given. With the above information I'm sure we can help you get things sorted.

Im going to be cutting it out for a 4x4 sign, will just be one layer and using fusion 360

If you want to modify the file to look like the yellow version shown above, you can start with this one (dxf attached below) and edit with your Fusion 360. You will need to stencil some of the letters and break the rings and inner logo to match the yellow image. Let me know if you have questions or get stuck doing your Fusion 360 edit and I will try to help you.

I am assuming that you are using Fusion 360 for your drawings as well as creating your cut paths and g-code. Have you had any experience using Inkscape for your drawings? The editing I mentioned above would be much easier and quicker to do using Inkscape or similar drawing program. Then you can save your edited drawing as either svg or dxf for import to Fusion 360.

The very first thing you should do WHENEVER someone gives you a logo like this and asks, "Can you make this?" is to ask your customer ... "Do you know the NAME of this FONT?"

There are a million fonts out there, and if the customer is okay with "close enough" then it is fairly easy to make this logo. However, if the customer says it must match EXACTLY, and they do not have the name of the font, or they cannot tell you WHO created the original logo (so you can contact the author and ask for the font name) the price automatically DOUBLES.

Either you have to manually draw the text, or you have to go on a witch hunt to find the EXACT FONT used to create the original logo.

You may discover that the original author has a Copyright on the logo, and forbids reproduction of it without his expressed written consent. A fast way to be SUED and YOU WILL LOSE in court, is to reproduce something like this without any assurance that you have the Right to reproduce the image.

The customer may have paid someone to create the logo, but signed some agreement that it will not be reproduced without the original author's consent, or perhaps the author retains the exclusive Right to reproduce the logo. This is especially true if the original font was somehow manipulated, skewed, or otherwise altered for style or individuality. That alteration is the PROPERTY of the author.

That said, I played with this for a while. I could not find the actual font used. However, I found something close. Here is a .jpg image of my "close enough" effort.
