We are having a fuse that keeps blowing and have traced most all wires coming out of the fuse. It’s only a 5a fuse but somewhere has to been shorted out

The fuse is marked as F4. I appreciate your quick response

I'm not familiar with your set up. Is it possible it just needs a higher amp fuse? I've seen it before where someone uses whatever they have an put a smaller amp fuse then originally called for. just a idea... Good luck

I do you have the schematic with the machine and it caused for a five amp fuse. I am thinking we have a dead short somewhere.

You mention "traced most all wires coming out of the fuse". If there are numerous wires coming out of the fuse I would be inclined to disconnect them all, install a new fuse, and then reconnect them all 1 by 1 until the fuse blows to find the culprit circuit or component.

I wish there was a way to download pictures. There is a remote wire 9 pin amphenal plug and the center wire is going to ground, yet on the 9 pin receptacle on the machine is 24v coming from power switch. Obviously 24v wire cannot go to ground. Very confusing but not hooking that ground wire and not blowing the fuse the machine is powering on

You can upload pictures if that is what you mean but not in the quick reply window, you need to click on "Full Editor and Preview" below the quick reply window and you will see whats shown below and you can add files pics etc.

And the machine functioned before with that hooked up?

Well that is odd. I would look to see where that 24v is coming from and what it's for. Hopefully you can get a wiring schematic of your machine to shed some light on that circuit and whats going on. In the meantime are you able to cut with no issues?
