A GOOD Parallel Port Card for PlasmaCam!

Post by Joe Jones »

They arrived! Two brand new LF1119KB AXXON full 5vdc PCIe parallel cards with 10-foot official IEEE-1284 Compliant parallel cables directly from Amazon! They arrived in only one day!

Now I can install these cards into two of my PCs that have been displaying communication errors. I HOPE this will resolve the communication issues!

They are absolutely the best card on the market for PlasmaCAM machines. I have not had a single noise communication error since switching to their card and a 15' cable 6 or so years ago.

I installed one into a HP tower today. It will go out to the shop tomorrow for some testing. The older DELL OPTIPLEX PCs are not reliable for the PlasmaCam tables. Their parallel ports are too weak, and I really do not know if it is the latest DesignEdge update :-? or something else. However, suddenly, they seem unable to maintain a connection to the USB corded keyboard and mouse. They were working fine BEFORE the 4.57 update, so I can only assume ....

I moved the Pc to the shop. The LF1119KB parallel card worked flawlessly! Get 'em from Robert Johnson, or from Axxon directly.
