Step and repeat saves having to click for each line as you can specify off set as well as total number of objects.

Justin - I followed you procedure, but after creating the second line and setting the spacing as you showed in your video - I do the Ctrl D and it moves it over and up by 1/4" each time. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

Re: Duplicate & Accurately Locate Objects in CorelDRAW
Steve - thanks for the tip. I am new to CorelDraw and just learning some of the tools. I tried the Step and Repeat and it works great.SegoMan DeSigns wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 12:34 am Step and repeat saves having to click for each line as you can specify off set as well as total number of objects.
I did the vertical lines first, then drew a horizontal line and did that one to create my "grid".

If your duplicate line becomes un-selected at any point the duplication co-ordinates will be lost. You can select the line again and duplicate however it will use the default offset which is x.25 y.25 unless a different default offset has been set by the user.

Definitely Step and Repeat is fast, easy and ideal for this grid pattern or any other identical duplicating pattern. Thanks SegoMan.SegoMan DeSigns wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 12:34 am Step and repeat saves having to click for each line as you can specify off set as well as total number of objects.
