I'm the kind of guy that (sometimes) reads just enough to get started. I have been plasma cutting for around 20+ years and purchased some of the Steel FX patinas several years ago. Needless to say I had mixed results and haven't really used the patinas much. I downloaded the manual so I could scan through it and quickly find a favorite chapter so I could enter this contest. My quick scan turned in to reading the entire manual and actually learning a few things. So now it's off to the shop to re-organize and get set up to do this right! I bet I get better results this time! Not sure I have a favorite chapter as the entire manual has valuable information!

I'd have to say chapters 7 and 8

To be honest, I got something out of every chapter! Being new to patinas I have researched it a lot and am very excited to get started. I was pretty excited that Bill was giving this information away. For a beginner it looks like a great way to start so a great big thanks to Bill for the instructions!

Thanks Bill for adding this giveaway to the site! I've already downloaded your missing manual on both of my computers and printed paper copies to highlight and study. I've read the whole thing at least 5 times and some parts over 20 times. I'm really excited about your patinas and the great looks they produce. Chapter 6 was the biggest help for me with the dross removal. I'm really glad to learn about the AVOS I need to practice with the patinas and learn your techniques. I'm looking forward to more from your website. Keep up the good work!

Thank You very much for the Book! Absolutely fantastic! For me the Chemical Coloring side of things in Chapter 8 are absolutely eye opening. I have been working metal on a structural level or many years. I have been an Armature Blacksmith focusing on art for a few years love the use of heat coloring along with blackening. For the past year been making metal art with a plasma and recently adopted the use of CNC. I have been waffling over the use of powder coating. This book and the process absolutely wins! it Blows my mind and opens many new doors! thank you so much for sharing.

Im new to your products and just tried thw copper fx and torch spray this week for the 1st time and chapter 8 has helped me with the chemical coloring aspect of it. Great products and look forward to trying more of them

I downloaded The Missing Manual. I will say that all the chapters are very helpful. But since I have to pick specifically, I will say chapters 6 & 7 dross removal and surface prep
