I'd have to say chapters 7 and 8 as I'm new and haven't used the products yet, just a crap load of metalcast and black. I saw a few files in the files section that I think would look awesome fine with steel fx.

It's not often that manuals give you required and not required...with pics. Most of what I've learned is trial and error after spending money on a tool that I think may help me do something. lol

Thanks for the Steel F/X offer! I've really been wanting to branch out and try a different type of finish from powder coating.

Chapter 6 is a good one, but I knew some of it already so I would say the most useful was chapter 8, regarding the sequencing and timing for the various patina's and the snipets describing how you got some of the effects.

Chapter 8 for me. I seem to get random results at times with patinas and chapter 8 offered me better understanding of things that affect the outcome.
