Miller 625 xtream problems

I have an issue with miller 625 xtreme. Unit always worked well for me. I let a guy use it and it looks to me like he was cutting on a chassis with under coating on it. The torch head was completely clogged and machine just Trips the breaker now when you try and turn on. I took the case off to see what was going on and I can see one of the 4 capacitors is blown up. Anyone ever expieriance that before. Im thinking once he clogged torch up he tried to fire torch again and it just back fed right back to machine and toasted the capacitor. Also has anyone ever had any companies other then miller do repair work on these machine boards. Thanks for any info you can give

That sucks, precisely why I hate lending things out. A local Miller dealer will have a repair facility they use but it will be expensive if you are unable to replace the cap yourself. Bummer.

I'd say the guy just bought himself a plasma cutter. Too bad it doesn't work.
