Looping outside corners
Is there a way to loop outside corners in sheetcam? I can't figure it out for the life of me?

as shown in the picture in the post below you need to tick the radio / selection button that says "arcs"

Re: Looping outside corners
What does it actually mean: Loop Sharp corners. Does it mean put a radius on them.

Re: Looping outside corners
I think it is a outside loop so the corner is a sharp angle, the loop is outside the part cut material.

Re: Looping outside corners
Are you looking to put radiuses on sharp corners? If so you can "fillet" the corners of the drawing in CAD. If that's the case, post up which CAD program you are using and maybe one of us can help you out.TJS wrote: Tue Oct 01, 2019 1:28 pm What does it actually mean: Loop Sharp corners. No it means make them sharp corners by looping the torch path as shown in the image below.TJS wrote: Tue Oct 01, 2019 1:28 pm What does it actually mean: Loop Sharp corners. Does it mean put a radius on them.
If you want to create a radius on all of the corners (or some) what you can do is adjust your G64 tolerances if using Linuxcnc or UCCNC.... won't work for Mach3 ...... think it works for Mach4

Re: Looping outside corners
Thanks for the image and explaination robertspark. This helps. Ironken, I do know how to radius the corners in Inkscape, thanks for that help.
