Using fusion 360 strange extrusion

Post by Ironys »

Hello,

I saw the Autodesk AutoCAD forum but didn't want to post there and break any rules.

While working on a fireplace log storage door I ran into this problem.
If anyone can point me in the direction as to why it's doing this I'd be greatly appreciative.

As you can see when i select the material i want to keep and extrude it sees it all just fine then i tell it to actually extrude it and it has these areas where its not cutting.

Thank in advance for any help.

Seems i step away from this software for just a day and I forget what I'm doing when i get back.
I figured it out. Turns out there was a discrepancy along the timeline in the lower left. It had two of the blocks greyed out. I selected the timeline and selected to delete everything past the marker.

It's done this before I just had a brain fart and forgot.

From 1:13 to 1:43 did not take you long, brain fart of not you feel better when you figure it out yourself, less likely to do it again.

I know the feeling any new things go into my right ear and old things fall out the left ear. :Sad
