Getting close to the finish

I am getting close to the finish of table #7, this is a scratch built DIY table. It is a 4X8 table base with both router and plasma torch mounts.
I have powered it up and did the steps calibrations home and limit switches are installed and wired. Attached are a few images.

Testing dust shoe when routing wood and aluminum, video shows it in action (turn down the sound). Removed 100% of the wood and 99% of aluminum.
I used 2 different bits, "V" on wood and 1/8" ball nose on aluminum. Not pleased with the ball nose I think the aluminum was sticking to it, will try a engraving bit soon.

Use flat end milling tool two flute up cut spiral for routing aluminum . Mist or flood coolant Ball end does not clear chip. V bit works on AL for simple signage.

Little more progress, attached a Drag Knife to the Z axis plate and cut some decals for the controller.
Also completed the Floating Head assembly.

Making some test cuts today with the router, I want to try custom Dovetails so I drew the 2 parts. Very happy with the first cuts I used a scrape to route them out and did a test fit. The orientation was not the way they would be for making joint but showed they will fit.
They ended up very tight need to adjust the finish allowance for a better fit.
