Open paths in Sheetcam

For some reason once I import my drawing into Sheetcam it will show open paths on various parts of the drawing. Can anyone check it out and maybe point me in the right direction on what I am messing up?

You can see in sheetcam if you zoom right in where the problems are, you have some gaps, a few stray lines coming off the shape in parts.
Is the text meant to be so jaggy? it's going to come out a bit rough I would say.

What program are you designing the part in? Are you able to export the file as an svg rather than a dxf? If so, do so and see what it looks like in Sheetcam.

You had so many open/duplicate paths I can see why you had issues.
Here is something to look at and change the font all you want.

If you are drawing this up yourself in a CAD program, learn to use object snaps. Draw a line from endpoint (snap) to endpoint(snap) instead of just drawing lines that look like they are close. It will help to eliminate your gap problems.

Thanks for the help! I am using Hycad for drawing, it has to be something with that program. It seems to only cause a issue on anything I dont physically draw. Most of the sign is made up of crops from the Plasmaspider DXF file pack that comes with the membership but once it goes into Sheetcam it shows open paths all over, no clue why. Anytime I start from scratch and draw something it works perfect and I do use snaps all the time.

I have found lots of open issues with files from this site and others. As you state those are the problem files not yours.
If you open one of those files and zoom in you will find the same open paths that Sheet Cam does. I have spent lots of time correcting files to use but that is just part of the game.
