software question

Whats the best software to get to turn my pics into a dxf line drawing

I use CorelDRAW, well I should say I am still learning how to use it. Several different programs out there, but Corel is the only one I have experience with. Was worth the money in my opinion.

I just bought Scan to Cad for around $300 and it's been working great. I also use Corelx5 to clean it up even further if it needs it.

I use V Carve Pro for tracing bitmaps (jpegs and others) into vector format......it is pricey software but by far and away the simplest and most powerful software I have found for design and converting bitmaps to vector......I also use Corel Draw, it depends on what the task is....I highly recommend V Carve Pro....

I use CorelDrawX4. Still learning tricks too. Once i got past the learning curve, i make draw some pretty cool stuff now

Best would probably be Adobe.

There is no best
For most of us, the cost of software will limit us to a multi step process that will seem easier as w e do more conversion and better understand the process
I happened to start with Corel version 3 ten years ago and have upgraded. I do some with adobe, but Corel gets 90% of y desigh work because I understand how to work the nodes, understand the B?zier curve editing etc

I mainly use Inkscape for image tracing, lettering, etc. Then export to DXF. The price is right, too!
