Hi Jim - I purchased the 220016 and 220404 consumables to use with my new omnic sensor system when I get it from CandCNC. I screwed the 220404 onto the cap and noticed with a light in the background that the metal clip does not contact the shield. Is this normal? I would have thought that they would be in contact when screwed together to make a complete electrical circuit or am I wrong yet again. I can bend the metal clip so they make contact if I need to but thought I'd check first.
Jim I would have gone to one of your techs with this but when a question like this is posted here everyone gets the benefit of your help. Thanks for being there for us.

Re: Hypertherm omnic question again
Bill,
The metal clip must contact the shield. I would suggest bending it slightly so it makes contact...sounds like one slipped by....and I will report it to our quality authorities! You may hear from them....
Best regards, Jim Colt Hypertherm
