Does anyone know how to import a dxf file and save it as a line drawing to be viewed on this forum? How do you adjust line thickness and color? I use Corel X5. Thanks

Re: DXF file to line drawing
Hi Dave
-drop down the File menu and select Export
-in the export window drop down the Save as type menu and select JPG - JPEG Bitmaps
-select a location to export (save) the file to and name your file the click Export
-the Export to JPEG window appears
-set the Color mode to 8 bit or 24 bit 8 bit is fine for b/w line drawings
-set the Width and Height to an appropriate size (if your largest dimension is 500px that is good)
-click OK and your image is ready to do with what you like
If you need to set the line width
-first select all objects on your screen
-press F12 to open the outline pen dialog window
-set your line width on the upper left of that dialog window
Hope this helps
