plasmacam initialize sound ???

hi guys.
i am new in cnc plasma cutting , i Owen plasma-cam and i just installed it some day a go .when initialize or rise the z shift up ,it makes this sound , i found it a little strange . i am asking the users of this machine if it is normal or not .

It is normal for PlasmaCam & Samson tables to make a sound when they initialize. It's kind of hard to describe the sound. The carriage will move slightly in the x & y coordinates then back against the contacts to find it's home position and the z shift will rise to it's highest level. That is when you will hear the odd noise. This whole process takes about 2 seconds or less assuming the carriage is already in the home position. If it is not it will travel to the home position first then initialize.
