program skipping cuts

ive done a few little projects with the table we just set up at our shop and on a few of the pieces, the plasma would skip lines, if i jump back to those lines it cuts them but thats kind of a pain in the butt

first time ever using any cnc machine so this is all new to me, any ideas of what could cause this?

i was trying to make hotdog / marshmallow roasting sticks
