Leash Holder (with paw prints)
I always sell a few of these at craft sales. Plug welding the hooks on the surface with a nice bump like a rivet adds a layer of dimension...............Russ K.

Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
Thanks a lot. I think the local SPCA could turn these into cash to help the animals.
The center of the O will drop out though. I just added two tabs that hold them in.

Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
Here is a remix of the design, it is now symmetrical and has an apostrophe. The two leash holders need to be bent out and up or bent in a semi circular curve (around a 3/4" wooden dowel) to hold the leashes.

Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
Might be a dumb question, but I am cutting some bow holders and would prefer to do the rounded bend as opposed to two 90 degree bends. How are you all bending around a wooden dowel or piece of pipe?jmersereau wrote: Sun Jul 14, 2024 8:11 am Here is a remix of the design, it is now symmetrical and has an apostrophe. Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
I would bend those around a piece of pipe myself. Post a pic and or dxf of your bow holder if you get a chance.

Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
I don't claim this as my own as I just traced the image my customer sent me and added the requested name. I believe this is available on etsy or maybe even here somewhere.plasmanewbie wrote: Thu Oct 10, 2024 11:13 am I would bend those around a piece of pipe myself. Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
I think that this is the design you are going for and you want the four bent supports to be nice curved loops.

Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
This is the look I'm going for. I have a cheap brake and can make the 90, 45 degree bends and so forth, but I've never tried to do a circular bend around pipe or a wooden dowel. I was looking for some advice on the best way to accomplish this.jmersereau wrote: Thu Oct 10, 2024 4:32 pm I think that this is the design you are going for and you want the four bent supports to be nice curved loops.

Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
Just lay it on top of your bench, clamp a piece of pipe on top, and bend with your hand. The ones sold on Etsy are 16 ga. steel. If you use thicker, you can use a dead-blow hammer to work it around the pipe.

Re: Leash Holder (with paw prints)
Thanks David! This was my initial thought, then I started overthinking it. Seeing you YouTube videos of people modifying their metal brakes to accomplish this made me doubt myself even more. As usual, I’m my own worst enemy and just need to remember to keep it simple.
