Knobs/Hand Wheels

Post by acourtjester »

On some of the projects I have build and tools I use I wanted some knobs or hand wheels for making adjustment or locking things in place. Attached are some files for both types for use with Plasma cutting and 3-D printing. It is very easy to adapt the files to either processors or both.
Images show both steel and printed parts on the tool or project. One shows an extension for the Z adjustment knob on my desk top laser, others are for my grinder.

Awesome! I see this 3D printed stuff and I just want one....however just before seeing your post Tom I was reading another post where a member was having difficulty with his 3D printing and I could totally see that being my experience LOL so I stall longer on getting into it.

There can be some bumps on the road, and with many things it could be Infant mortality (dies soon after purchase) or filament related. If it Infant mortality the seller will make it good, most other problems are corrected after they are identified. There are people out there running "Printer farms" making living by selling things they printed. I have 2 and use them just for my own projects as an additional tool in my shop. Similar to the desk top laser I have, sometime it more fun then the law allows. :Like :Yay
