Text wrap question

New to Corel and still feeling it out, I can do basic text and drawing functions but I am having a problem when it comes to wrapping text underneath an arc. To clarify, the letters would be "hanging" from the arc with the top of the letter aligned with the arc. Any help would be appreciated.

In X5, after applying text on path

mirror the text horizontally and vertically using buttons in blue oval

then drag the red dot (red circle) to desired position

Thanks as always Gary, but what I need is for the text to be at the bottom of the circle (as opposed to the diagram you show with it inside the circle), with the TOP of the letter tangent with the bottom of the arc.

If so... draw a line, covert to curves, curve it to desired shape, write text on it, then manipulate the line to your shape.

what I need is for the text to be at the bottom of the circle

The diagram in my previous post is after step one and before step two. Step two is to drag it around by the red dot drag handle, which allows you to position it anywhere around the circle even to the inside or outside.

Here is a test in Corel v11. Be sure to click on circled button. (place on other side.) You should be able to correct spacing. Note the other setting.- John

Thanks to everyone for the replies. SRP has it closest to what I need to do, except that I do not seem to have the "place on other side" button he has circled. Nothing similiar to it in my tool bar on X5 unless I am overlooking something.

They took the "place on other side" button out in X5.

Gary's method will do what you want it to. After you mirror the text, you can drag the red diamond to where you want the text to be...at the top, at the bottom, on a side, inside the curve or outside the curve. Just play with it....it works.

Another way to do it is to mirror the text, both horizontally and vertically, before you "fit to curve"...looks funny while you're doing it but it works the same way.
