So we the title says I have been looking into these tables for a minute. Medium duty fabrication, brackets and such....3/16-1/4" usually at the thickest..... my question is.
Currently I have a Hypertherm powermax 30air...I am curious is the little onboard compressor is sufficient to supply enough air for the cutting process, on a table? Or will I need to be looking to upgrade my machine to run the table as it should be. I appreciate the help.

Re: Looking to get a langmuir
I have not run a pm30air rather have a PM45 not XP. If you are looking at the XR 4x8 table I would say, upgrade to a 45xp for certain and get a compressor. If you are looking at the smaller tables, you might be ok. Are you running the 30 on 120v? Looks like with the 30 air, I would run up against the duty cycle pretty quick in my projects and it would be frustrating. Below are the specs.

I have it running on 220, and I have a good heavy duty compressor, that will more than handle it. I appreciate the info! I wasn't sure if I can open it up and bypass the on-board comp and run my big one, hahaha

In my opinion the onboard compressor will be inadequate, more for non extended use hand cutting. Your idea of opening it up and feeding at your own compressed air from a good size compressor is a great idea. I would certainly give that a try. Let us know what you end up doing.

From LS systems site: Compressed Air (6CFM, 90PSI recommended)
https://www.langmuirsystems.com/what-to-expect
I run my LS Crossfire Pro on 9CFM w/60-gallon tank and feel that is the sweet spot as far as air supply, space, and cost.
Getting the air dry is just as important as the volume. If you're not already running a plasma cutter, look into this as many are surprised by the $$ of drying their air.
