Post by a1welding »

Good morning! I recently purchased a used spark robotic XR84 table and Im pretty happy with it. I had a quick question about indicating corners of a sheet on the table if its not square to the machine using myplasm thanks

You should be able to measure from the metals edge and the rail you want to be parallel to, so both ends are the same distance from the rail.

I made up physical stops on my table and bump the material into them. If it's heavy material and I am by myself a pry bar is all I need to shimmy the material to the stops.

Myplasm doesn't have any type of skew adjustment that I know of. You have to square the plate manually.

The other question is: why do you need the perfectly square to the rails ? If you are trying to use the edge of the material as one edge of a part, you are in for some headaches.Even cutting real close to an edge (or any void ) will cause problems with a THC
