We are new to this. We are an FFA Chapter and students are building projects in the shop. We just got a new plasma table. We are looking for a cut file to make metal roses.

Welcome to the site! I know I have seen a few rose files here over the years. If you use the search box in the upper right corner I am sure you will have some luck. Would enjoy seeing pics of what you are and your students are able to make!

If you go to another site called Weldingweb.com there are many art type projects for your students to get ideas from. There is a guy called psacustomcreations on this posting https://weldingweb.com/vbb/threads/5438 ... ts/page200 where he show some of his work. He shows his technique for making leaves for flower art somewhere among the pages posted. One other thing he makes a lot of is bells from old cylinders, (fire, gas, and scuba). Have a look around.

Hypertherm PM65 Machine Torch

Tom - that is a great site! I think I joined it a few years ago and sort of forgot about it. But when I went to the link you posted, it already had my name and password for auto login. I didn't find the guy you were talking about on that first page - but I suppose it may be on one of the other pages. They asked me to make a post of something I welded today. So I did.

By the way - I did sign up for a subscription to that AI site you told us about a few weeks ago. The cost per conversion is about 6 cents. Here is one I did today for one of the Inkscape group members.
