DieselFumes - you are quite welcome! The OP has not responded yet - so I'm not sure if this is exactly what he was looking for. In any case, it was fun to draw it up an 3D model it.

I have been having a ton of fun with the 3d modeling as well. Learning it in Fusion 360 and I find it very satisfying when you see your model on screen a rotate it around. So cool!

DieselFumes - I agree - much fun to be had with the Fusion 360 3D modeling. I actually learned something new when I modeled this particular C-Notch kit. It was always a mystery to me why the Shell tool would sometimes create a thin-wall all the way thru the part, and at other times stop at the other end with out going all the way thru.

Here is an example.

Super cool David. I had never used the shell tool before, looks like it could have saved me some time in the past. Will play around with it and see what its all about. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.....so much to learn!

DieselFumes - you are quite welcome! The shell tool works great for creating tubes and similar models. It can be quicker than using a sketch to create an extruded cut. Have fun!!

Funny to see old films of room full of people at drafting tables, slide rules, "T" squares, and pencils drawing plans for products. :HaHa :HaHa

Yes Tom - we have come a long way since those old days when I was using a drafting table and T-square. But that's the way we did it back in the 60's.
