Is there any reason I need to keep the giant loop of flexible hose under the table for the plate marker? I estimate there's probably 15+ feet of extra hose, and the hose only needs to reach the air distribution block. I'd prefer to keep a couple feet extra in a loop, and cut the rest out.
All the cables under my table are just a rats nest. Whoever installed the unit at the previous location did a really poor job, and I want to clean it up for aesthetics and to keep anything from getting snagged.

I see no reason why you couldn't shorten the hose to more reasonable length and get your wiring and hoses cleaned up nicely.
