Hi everyone,
I need to replace the extruder stepper motor for my 3D printer.
My question is: which one is better for prusa i3, 1.8 degree stepper motor or 0.9 degree stepper motor?
I have two options:
1. https://www.oyostepper.de/goods-54-Nem ... motor.html
2. https://www.oyostepper.de/goods-31-Nema ... motor.html

Re: 3D Printer Extruder Stepper Motor
Are you sure its the stepper and maybe not the controller board??? As to your selection I would try to find the spects on the stepper that is on the printer and go with a direct replacement. If you select the wrong one the calibrations for the feed may be off and effect the printing.

I would have to agree with Tom. My best recommendation would be to reach out to the manufacturer of your particular 3D printer and source a replacement motor directly from them.
