Diff Cover DXF
I did some searching here and through google and didnt find a good source
Looking for GM 8.5 rear, GM 7.5/7.625 rear, Dana 60 rear, Ford 8.8 rear, and Chrysler 9.25 rear.
If nobody has them I can probably get the bolt patterns in a file but would be no good at drawing the cover up, if someone was willing to do that?

Re: Diff Cover DXF
Spoke too soon. I have the 8.8 Ford and Dana 60 patterns, as well as a GM 14 bolt. None are a full cover file though
The "GM 14 Bolt" Will need clarification on whether thats a floater or not.. unless they're all floaters or all the same?

I don't have a need for these at the moment but have downloaded them and I thinks you. May come in handy in the future. Thanks again!

Re: Diff Cover DXF
Well I ordered an 8.8 to check what the depth of the cover is, an 8.5 cover for that and to plot on a DRO. I'll add those to the 9.25 and 7.5 I have to take to my machinist to get plotted.
The other thing I need to know is the distance from the cover flange to the centerline of the axle shaft, measured from the mating surface of the bearing caps. The 7.5 I have measured ~1.81, the 9.25 measured ~2.116.
Does anyone have an 8.5 Rear GM housing (8.2 should be the same ?), or 8.8 Ford to measure with? I laid a rigid straight edge across the cover flange and used the end of a cheap digital mic down to the bearing cap mating surface, minus the thickness of the straight edge. Within .050 is fine

Re: Diff Cover DXF
I put some feelers out for some more CAD from a few places, I am going to expand my search to Chevy car 12 bolt, Ford 7.5, Chrysler 8.25, & Dana 44
From my searches Ive found that the Dana 60 is also Dana 50 and 70, but Dana 60s in Ford Super Duty's 05-?? are different
Im sure the off-road guys would like Dana 30s and 35s although I dont have a use for them
Attached is a "12-bolt" I found https://grabcad.com/library/differential-cover and converted to a .dxf. It appears to be a truck cover. I make no promises that its right.

Another on! Awesome, thanks again for these. Easy enough to print them off on paper and line them up to see if they are correct. Great to have them in the library.

Re: Diff Cover DXF
If someone could trace... I dont see a problem getting the bolt patterns as you could get them just as easily with a DRO and a cover, some of them dont have a scale though.
