Assuming insufficient smoke evac can anyone specify what model cartridge is suitable for working around a plasma cutter cutting just mild steel? I guess it's got to filter both vapors and steel dust?
What about for welding mild steel?

I use the charcoal filters that came with my 3M respirator. Not sure the model number but they filter vapor and dust. I found this guide which may help you decide whats best for you
