Powermax 600 and machine torch

Good afternoon

I have a Powermax 600 with the original hand torch and I’m looking to upgrade to the 228920 torch for my PlasmaCam DHC machine. Is there a noticeable difference in cut quality and consumable life. My 600 has maybe 50 hours on it but the consumables for the hand torch are discontinued. Also is there anything special I need to do you make it work, such as wiring inside the machine. I believe you will see a noticeable improvement in cut quality and consumable life with the Duramax torch your looking at. That part number you listed should be a plug and play setup however with the 600 I am sure you will have to open the machine to make the connections inside.
