How does everyone prep for powder?
I’m looking to get into powder coating and just didn’t know the best or most efficient way to prep material. Blast cabinet, full blasting machine, water blasting?
What powder gun does the best?
Thanks in advance

Re: Beginner powder coating and Sand blasting
I sand blast my parts prior to powder coating. This gives a little 'tooth' for the powder to stick to. I then spray the part down with alcohol to clean all grease and oil off it. Never touch the part with bare hands after that.
Take a look at the following forum, they have lots of good information there.

Re: Beginner powder coating and Sand blasting
Like WyoGreen I also sand blast, before that my powder would chip much easier.
