question for gary of signtorch

Post by BrianMick »

Hey Gary, I noticed that in all of your zip files there are acctually two Dxf files; My question to you is Why? I understand all of the other formats, for usabillity by all, but I don't see any difference in the dxfs......Just wondering! thanks and I would also like to thank you for being so informative on alot of various subjects lately.....you have been a valued addition........Thankyou

Thanks for asking. I can see how that is confusing...

I publish two DXF types, one with arcs and one without, with arcs is usually in a folder named DXF# or in a zip file it will have ~ tilde character appended on the end of the filename.

There is a difference, the arcs work better, zoom in and you can see the difference.

It makes it easier for the flux capacitor and the Spritzer valve to mesh in the warp time continuum.
