For you Fusion 360 users

Important changes are coming to your Fusion 360 for personal use software that you need to know about.

Effective October 1, 2020, functionality in Fusion 360 for personal use will be limited, and you’ll no longer have access to the following:

•Probing, 3 + 2-axis milling (tool orientation), multi-axis milling, rapid moves, automatic tool changes
•Multi-sheets, smart templates, output options for drawings (print only).
•Download options to public share links
•Cloud rendering
•Export options including DWG, DXF, IGES, and SAT (Note: DXF can still be saved via sketch)

•Simulation and generative design
•Unlimited active and editable Fusion 360 documents (10 doc limit)

Fusion 360 for personal use is still free for those of you working on home-based, non-commercial design, manufacturing, and fabrication projects.

These changes really won't affect hobbyists. The only thing I can see is with the lack of rapid travel for cnc machining, but it is simple enough to edit the g-code file after post processing and add in these rapid moves.

I'm glad I recently purchased a 3 year license to F360 while it was near half price. I just wonder what surprises are in store for me in 3 years time when it renews?

I have a friend who uses onshape and purchased a licence to F360 just for the CAM module... But Onshape keep hassling him about needing to buy a paid license. Its USD 1500 a year without any CAM stuff!
