Pattern

Post by josevsalcedo »

Hello guys, I have a question which I want to share with you and help me solve it.
what would be the best way to make a pattern and take it to cad, for example I would like to make a template in the shape of a car roof with respect to the X axis. How should I go about this and what tools Should I use? taking into account that I want to take it to a cad program later.

Thanks in advance

I myself would start with searching "line drawing" in google images". You then can trace the roof line or depending on drawing extract it.
