Hi,
New to the entire CNC process, especially the various applications. I have been able to make a few cuts from dxf files downloaded from others. However, I can not get the system to consistently Run. I think the problem might be that I'm not doing something correctly in SheetCam every time. Today, I imported a drawing and was able to process and open in my table control program and cut. Then I went back to Inkscape, made one minor modification to the size, reloaded in SheetCam and created the code again. This time, the table control program does nothing. I know nothing about code yet but there are basically the same number of lines of code as there was on the file that successfully cut this morning.
My question is, once I import the drawing (in my case they are SVG files) into SheetCam, what steps do I go through prior to running the Post Processor? I must be leaving a step out somewhere along the way.
Thanks for any assistance.
Jeff
