Question one. Dupli-Color Metal Cast Anodized Color, works very well for a rattle can paint.

Question two. All paints will fade some over time, worse if exposed to sunlight.

Question three. All paints will chip, they're paint not steel.

Question four. No paint is really designed to peel but if you don't prep your surface correctly peel you will get!

I agree with Rick on all 4 points.

Plan B is get some steel dyes from Steel FX and hit with a nice clear coat afterwards.......Which is usually my plan A though.......

The acids don't work on anything but steel. Not sure about the dyes thought. They might/should work on aluminum.

FX dyes work GREAT on aluminum, actually they work on all metals, wood and even blue jeans. Just ask me!
