Custom made Toe Plates for your local racetrack. I put whatever the driver and/or car owner want in the center of these. The scores help you bend them to a 45degree angle facing out. I also added the two extra slots so they can get two measurements to verify. Sometimes the toe plate will rest against the lettering on one tire and not the other and give an inaccurate measurement. So by having the two slots you can prevent that or compensate for it. I get $60 a set and make them out of Aluminum but any metal would work. I will also be posting some parts for Whelen Modified and Limited Sportsman cars once I get them all together. I have some parts for NASCAR but I believe they are proprietary but I will check and see if they are not then I will post those as well.
This gives you a fast way to check/set front end toe. It is affected by wheel or tire runout, so be certain wheels run true and tires have no bulges.
? TURN WHEELS STRAIGHT AHEAD:
This should be done on level ground. Set caster and camber first.
? LEAN PLATES UP AGAINST WHEELS:
Folded lip goes to the outside. Be sure the entire plate is up against the wheel and tire.
? MEASURE FRONT WIDTH, THEN REAR:
Use the slots for the tape measure. Subtract one from the other for toe.
Larger front width means toe-out.
