price check
i am still learning on pricing these things out.. i got to make 7 of them they are 15 inches tall and 11 inches wide .. i am doing them for a friend for his daughter and there team.. there still in highschool.. i was just thinking i should just have him buy the metal and do it for free... but if you were doing the job what would you charge?

Re: price check
I would do as you suggested, just charge for the metal or if you have some scrap to cut them out of don't charge anything. Problem with that is it leads to more free stuff.
If I were to quote this job, I'd be around $9.00 each.

Re: price check
Well, when I scale it to 15 tall I get 13 wide. I would cut these out of 14g for $16 each for raw, powdercoat would probably add $15. I would probably just say $30 for powdercoat, or $16 raw. I would also add CAD time unless I already had the file, in which case I would still tack another 10 bucks or so on. That price is if I supplied the metal.

Re: price check
If it makes you happy doing stuff for free then by all means do so.
For a friend, I'd be at $15 a piece.
For a customer $20 a piece.
If you're mass producing them as a wholesale business then, $10 raw a set $15 one color finished a set.
