Aluminum cut price?

Post by HellfireOffroad »

Wondering where you guys would be at price wise on this to cutout.

Customer supply's 1/4 Aluminum sheet 6061
1 hour of taking measurements off old skid plates/cad time
595 cut inches, 27 pierces

I haven't cut much out of aluminum to figure out price yet, Just a few piece's for my own projects. Would it be about the same as steel?

Thanks

You are just cutting and not welding together?
I would be somewhere around $200, without doing any cleanup.

Thanks! So I wasn't to far off then, I quoted $185, An still got the " Man your way expensive" Will see if he comes back with the project or not. At least I got paid for the Cad time.
You are correct no welding/clean up, Straight off the table.

Is that including the 1 hour of your labour for taking measurements. I think lots of the guys here might subcontract their work to you :D

I would probably be around $125ish for an hour of cad and 15 min or less cycle time running on low amp consumables. Just guessing off the total cut inches and adding rapids.
