Question for ya Jim
Senility has set in here again Jim. When (if ever) would you want to use unshielded consumables w/ a converted Duramax on a 1250?

Re: Question for ya Jim
I cannot think of a good reason to use unshielded consumables. We keep them available as there are some users that insist on not using a shield. They will get shorter life and poorer cut quality....but because they don't have to purchase the shield they think it is cheaper......trust me, it is less costly per foot of cut to use the shielded consumables.

Re: Question for ya Jim
That is what I was thinking too Jim but I ran across a couple of unshielded nozzle caps the other day in my consumables drawer. Will just leave them in there to confuse me in future years
