powermax 30 maintenance
I am running a powermax 30 on my table im waiting on funds to upgrade to a bigger hypertherm unit i have no problems with this little unit. I cut mostly 16 - 12ga is there a recomdation for servicing the cutter. I need it to last as long as it can. I asked the local store where i bought it for the internal filter had no idea what i was talking about its a white paper looking wrap. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: powermax 30 maintenance
In the Powermax30 operators manual there is a section on normal inspection and maintenance. There also is a section on changing the filter, and includes a filter part number that can be ordered at any dealer. Often if you just ask the dealer for a "filter" for a Powermax....they may not have been factory trained and do not know how to look for part numbers.
You can always contact Hypertherm customer service or technical service as well...they will be more than happy to help you with routine maintenance!
