Re: sheet cam ?
When you import in SheetCam, a window comes up. The drawing position part of that window can control where it displays on SheetCam's table. Is the lower left radio button (or any left option) selected in your case?

hi, Urbnsr
it only happens on this one file. I have the left corner checked .
I clicked on metric and it moved 3/4 's the way to were it should be.
maybe its just a bad file?
thanks

Re: sheet cam ?
If you check the file there is probably a dot at the lower left point that you need to remove.

Re: sheet cam ?
on the bottom of the sheetcam screen is your mouse x,y coordinates and pos x,y,a. (position x,y,a)
with pos x,y,a you can move the part x, y or rotate.
rarely does a dxf file come up that i don't have to tweek these pos x,y,a settings.
i draw everything with origin at 0,0
when i import into sheetcam pos will read oddball random figures with 90* rotation.
i figured it was bug in sheetcam.
it is also handy if you have a single part of many that you want to cut separately
using sheetcam you can move the object to a new layer, reset pos x,y and
rotate to make the object appear at 0,0 and easy to cut

Re: sheet cam ?
The last few times I used SC at the shop on some of the imports, the drawing would show on the left side.. I checked the drawings and there was nothing extra in them. There were no other start points then the drawing so I just used the nesting button and move the drawing to the right and all was fine. Still not sure what caused those drawings to go to the left, but Les has been doing some updates..

Re: sheet cam ?
A release or two ago of the development version did shift (some of) my drawings a bit to the right. I was in too much of a hurry to look into it and selected "drawing origin" in the drawing position of the import window.
