I'm almost done building my Man Cave, a 30'x50' shop complete with a 6x6x10 powder coat oven. Having moved up from a home built (4x4x8) ... I've just finished up on a new powder coat booth.
I've made up a booth that is 8' deep by 12' long to accommodate a roll in rack. Making something that big however has its disadvantages; rolling stock out once it's been coated with powder.
So with an idea from a buddy, you'll see that I've used a barn door sliding hinge to open up one end. That will make rolling the rack in and out SO MUCH easier.
The entire booth has been placed on wheels making it mobile. There's also some rubber door seals along the bottom to keep the powder contained (to be vacuumed up) and as it turns out, the booth will be sitting below an existing ceiling light.
I'm hoping this will work... Any comments or ideas would be appreciated !!!

Re: Powder Coat Booth
Seems to be a functional design. From the pic's I can't tell if it's a "L" or "U" shape though. Thanks for sharing
