Corel X6 - Circles appear in CAM program

I am using Corel X6 to design and modify DXF's to take into Bobcad to prepare a toolpath for cutting. Not always, but often, when I open the file that I have created in Corel to my CAM program (Bobcad), a bunch of different sized circles appear with the object that have to be edited out. Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong? I generally "Join Curves" on the object before saving it in Corel, then open in Bobcad and "Explode" before profiling.
