Anyone have any ideas on how to bend the edges of light switch plates?

Are you making a switch plate cover to fit over the original swith plate? This is a very open question, can you be more specific?

Thanks,

I just bend the 4 edges on the break and fix up the corners on a mandrel with a mallet works quit well

I would cut them out of 1/8" material and not bend anything.

Do you leave the metal solid under the plate and drill holes for the screws.
or just tighten plate to hold in place?

Cut rectangle in the plate large enough and just use existing screw and threaded holes in box (no holes in your art
