Honey Pinion Finish
Hello, I'm new to this forum. I have been reading the forum for a long time and have learned many things here but this is my first post. I Have a customer wanting a piece finished in Honey Pinion but have no experience in this finish. I assume it is a paint and smear effect but not sure. Can anyone give me any insight on this finish?

Re: Honey Pinion Finish
A Google search shows this finish as what might be a propitiatory name for a heat colored, powder coated finish. However, it does show up under several cutters products.
Check with Bill Worden @ SteelFX. If anyone knows the history of this 'color', it would be him.
Good luck.

Re: Honey Pinion Finish
Thanks AnotherDano, I will check with Bill. To me this finish looks like maybe a Honey Oak stain streaked with a dark mahogany.
