Spraying powder and painting in same booth?
I am almost finished building a 12X12X10 ft. paint booth and I am also about to dabble with some powder coating. My question is are there any contraindications for using the same booth to spray powder and paint?

Do you mean from a health standpoint or from an operational & safety stand point, i.e. build up on fan, fire . . .
I am in the process of building a paint booth now.
Was thinking same question . . .down the road can I use it for powder coat.
Probably not as a powder recoverable booth, but I can think of no reason why it would not work.
Do you have some pictures?
Curious what others are doing . . .

I would think the left over powder in the booth would contaminate the paint and leave trash in your paint kinda like dust particles.

What he said X 2
Powder is so fine unless you fully washed down the booth. A wet floor in a paint booth is so dust will not be kicked up when walking around.

We do both in ours - we are located in a large body shop - but I know our booth has some sort of air flow system that we can sweep the powder/dust into the air and it filters it out before we paint.
