Powering Down PowerMAX 85

Just curious if we should wait for the fan to stop running if in fact it is before we power down a PowerMAX?

I assume the fan is a feature to protect the machine thermally . . . but do not really know.

I guess if you had just been cutting some heavy plate.....with long continuous cuts....then it would probably be a good idea to let it cool for a while. On hot summer days (rare here in NH) my 85 fan comes on when it is sitting idle occasionally.......probably not an issue when that occurs as it likely will not shut off!
