I am very happy with how my Stee-FX patinas are coming out and I hope to start experimenting with combinations soon, blending parts of the piece with one patina and another part with something else, etc.
Right now my biggest issue though is the clear coat itself. I am doing this in very low volume and don't expect to change that any time soon. So I don't think it's practical to start mixing things.
Anyone have a favorite spray can for giving the best clear coat finishes?

The SprayMax-2K Clearcoat is my choice. Hands down over any other clear-in-a -spray-can on the market. It's a 2 part paint just like you'd mix at home for your spray gun. Once mixed, the pot (can) life is 48 to 72 hours.
