Jim colt question
I have precision plasma gantry running candcnc elec I have had a miller spectrum connected to it and yesterday my pm 85 came in. Trying to cut 1/2 steel. Using the 85/85 1/2 tool set in sheetcam with 85 tip. It will cut for a few seconds and then I get amps at tip fault. Any ideas?

Re: Jim colt question
amps at tip fault? Or "tip volts out of range"? An amp fault (only kicked off if you have the DCP-01 Digital Current Probe. Post on the Candcnc Support Form. It does not sound like a Hypertherm problem.

Re: Jim colt question
One thing.. off subject a bit.. If you want the highest quality cut on 0.500 MS, use 65 amp nozzles at the book speed of 30 IPM. Very nice cuts..
